RAID  ENTRY FEES 

In order to calculate your inclusive registration costs, just add the following figures:

1)      RAID REGISTRATION FEE

2)      BOX and WHEELS SERVICE (not complimentary)

3)      VEHICLE SHIPPING  

 

1)  RAID  REGISTRATION FEE (per person):

1st rate: 2.700 €/person  - payment deadline 31/03/2013

2nd rate: 3.000 €/person  - payment deadline 31/05/2013

3rd rate: 3.300 €/person  - payment deadline 31/08/2013

Rates deadlines will be strictly respected, i.e. even one day delay involves the increased rate applied.

Registration rates include:

  • Competitors sport rights
  • 5 bivouacs in the desert (inclusive of breakfast, basket lunch and dinner)
  • Medical insurance and repatriation (see regulations)
  • Prize giving ceremony
  • Balai/Sweeping truck service

Registration rates do not include:

  • Safety equipments (Iritrack, GPS, Sentinel, Balise)
  • Vehicle shipping
  • Flight and hotel
  • Drinks at the hotel and at bivouacs
  • Any personal extra or any expense not mentioned here
  • Transport service of bike/quad from oasis to Cairo

2)  BOX and WHEELS SERVICE

if required - limited availability

Service description: transport box and wheels on a dedicated truck.

Boxes and wheels will follow you, bivouac after bivouac during your adventure in the desert!

Boxes and wheels must be delivered at Venice Port with your vehicle

BOX MAXIMUM SIZE: 80 L – cm 80x40x35 – Oversized boxes will not be loaded

Price: BOX: 350 €/each

Bike wheel: 50 €/each                 -                 Quad wheel: 80 €/each

Boxes must be clearly identified with competitor name and surname in marking ink and they must be locked. The wheels must be locked by PHARAONS RALLY officer with chain and locker to the truck structure.

All personal items (cots, tents, sleeping bags, etc.) must be put  inside your box.

PHARAONS RALLY JVD is not responsible for any missed and/or changed piece.

3)  VEHICLE SHIPPING  

Vehicle transport is in EURO and it includes:

  • Transfer by ship from Europe to Egypt and back
  • Custom duties
  • Permit to cross the desert
  • Bikes and quad delivery in containers straight at the Rally official hotel!

BIKE/QUAD  SHIPPING

In order to transport your vehicle you have 2 options:

a)        Transport inside the container provided by the organization

5 star service: you leave your vehicle at Venice Port. Your vehicle will be loaded and secured by the dedicated staff. You will find your vehicle directly in Cairo at the Rally official hotel.

BIKE  in CONTAINER: 900€/bike.

QUAD in CONTAINER: 1.300 €/quad

b)       Transport on an assistance vehicle or on a trailer

If this is your choice you still have to pay a fee for customs and port fees, desert permit, etc…

BIKE on OTHER VEHICLE/TRAILER: 500€/BIKE.

QUAD on  OTHER VEHICLE/TRAILER: 700€/quad.

 

CAR SHIPPING

In order to transport your vehicle you have 2 options:

a)        RO-RO shipping - € 2.100/per car

b)       Car on trailer (pulled by your assistance vehicle) - € 1.300/ per car

If you opt for transport b), you must pay the transport of the assistance vehicles (van+trailer or truck + trailer), as indicated in the "Assistance Rates."

Pharaons Rally JVD LTD and the shipping carrier do not take any responsibility for all transported vehicles and any loaded material.

NOTE: Vehicle transportation does not include the transport of boxes/wheels and other personal items on Organization vehicles.

NOTE 2:  Once registration is paid, changes are not allowed!
For instance: if one biker pays for his bike transport in the ship container of the organization, he is not allowed any discount in case he later finds transport on any other assistance truck. *****************************************************************************************************************************************************

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Vehicles which do not undertake the naval transport provided by the organization, they must pay the "DESERT PERMIT", which is essential in order to follow the caravan and take part at the rally.

All vehicles that follow the rally caravan must have the desert permit to get access to military areas normally forbidden and exceptionally open to the vehicles of the rally.

The cost of this plate, compulsory for vehicles rented in Egypt, for the Middle East participants as well as for all those who do not undertake our sea transport from Europe, is:

  • motorbike € 250
  • quad € 300
  • car € 500
  • truck € 650

All payments must be made only by BANK TRANSFER (we don’t accept any bank cheque).

It is compulsory to send a copy of your bank wire transfer done via email to info@pharaonsrally.com with your invoicing details (both as a team, as well as a company, as well as a private) with Name, Address, Zip Code, City, Country, VAT number or TAX Code.
